Police have converged upon a recreation site near Cherryville Sunday, Aug. 21.
Unconfirmed reports from social media and a nearby business have anywhere from six to a dozen RCMP vehicles and emergency response team vehicles responding to an altercation of some kind at a spot known as the Meadows, down Sugar Lake Road off Highway 6.
The vehicles have been there since just after 12 p.m.
