The Action Festival weekend was relatively uneventful for members of the Summerland RCMP detachment.

Sgt. Stephane Lacroix said people were well behaved during the weekend, aside from several liquor-related offenses.

Police conducted four or five liquor seizures and issued tickets for consuming alcohol in public. Three people, intoxicated in public, were taken to cells in Penticton.

Members of the South Okanagan Highway Patrol assisted Summerland RCMP members in conducting roadside checks. A total of five immediate roadside prohibitions were issued during the weekend.
