Purchase of fire truck approved for Naramata

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen will spend $150,000 to purchase a bush truck for the Naramata Fire Department.

The purchase contract has been awarded to Commercial Emergency and was the lowest of six bids received by the regional district. The Naramata Fire Department reviewed the purchase and determined it met all requirements.

The 2022 capital budget for this purchase was $175,000.
