Proof of vaccination required for Summerland pool users

Requirement comes as result of public health order

Proof of vaccination are now required for people 12 and older who wish to use the pool, hot tub or aquatic programs at the Summerland Aquatic and Fitness Centre. (Black Press file photo)

People who want to go for a swim, use the hot tub or participate in aquatic programming at the Summerland Aquatic and Fitness Centre must now show proof of vaccination.

The requirement is the result of a public health order and affects pool users 12 and older. It took effect Dec. 23.

In addition, the fitness room closed on Dec. 23 and will remain closed until Jan. 18, 2022.
