Potential COVID-19 exposures were reported at Summerland Middle School and Summerland Secondary School in late April.

The dates of the Summerland Middle School exposure are April 20 to 22 while the dates of the Summerland Secondary School exposure are April 21 and 22.

COVID-19 exposure events are posted on the Interior Health website. They are removed after 14 days, once the risk of transmission has passed.

Interior Health has a notification in place if a student or teacher receives a confirmed positive COVID-19 test, including contact tracing. Those who may be at an increased risk are advised to self-isolate and monitor symptoms for 14 days.
