Penticton Care Closet thrift store robbed overnight

The front door was smashed in and several items stolen

The RCMP are investigating after the Care Closet thrift store on Main Street in Penticton was broken into.

The front door of the thrift store was smashed sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. By Monday morning, it was already boarded up.

The thief or thieves broke into the store’s jewelry case, stealing a few small items from there, including some cuff-links.

The RCMP are currently seeking surveillance footage from the area.
