Overdoses claim 102 lives in B.C. in February

Kelowna,Vancouver and Surrey saw the highest number of deaths.

More than 100 British Columbians died because of an illicit drug overdose last month.

The latest numbers from the BC Coroners Service on Friday showed 102 people died because of a suspected overdose, with the Vancouver Coastal region seeing the highest number of deaths.

Top three townships where fatal illicit drug overdoses occurred were Vancouver, Surrey, and Kelowna.
