Man arrested in Trout Creek

RCMP received a complaint of a man entering a home in the Johnson Road area

On May 31, Summerland RCMP received a complaint of a man entering a home in the Johnson Road area.

The man said he was trying to get directions to another location.

Police say the man later returned to the home and tried to enter the front and side doors.

Police received details, including a description of the man and a licence plate number. Within hours, police were called after a man was seen walking through yards on Ward Street.

Police attended and the man was apprehended without incident.

The investigation continues and charges are pending. The man remains in police custody.
