Doug Loepp is on the ballot for a councillor role in the upcoming Summerland local government election.

Loepp describes himself as a husband, dad and grandpa who is all about family.

He is an experienced media professional who has worked in the broadcast industry for nearly 30 years. He has also worked in community service and has volunteer his time with several charitable organizations.

He and his wife moved to Summerland more than a year ago and can be found several days a week at the dog beach at Sunoka Provincial Park with their dogs Bernie and Ozzy.
