An assessment is now in progress after a rock slide occurred on Highway 97 north of Summerland on Thursday evening.
Lane closures are in effect in both directions.
The estimated time of reopening is expected on Saturday, Feb. 2 at noon.
Drive BC reported the slide, between Callan Road and North Beach Road for 1.6 kilometres, around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
