Interior Savings is making some big changes in 2021.
The credit union will be opening a new branch office in Penticton, and closing down the branch office in Osoyoos.
The new office in the south end of Penticton will be turned into the primary service location for Penticton and Okanagan Falls, with branch services in Okanagan Falls moving to one day a week once the new office is open.
According to the announcement by Interior Savings, the decision to open the new branch was driven by members asking for a presence in the city.
A future transition to Oliver as the southern regional hub is planned for Feb. 27, 2021. The opening of the new Penticton branch is expected sometime in spring 2021.
In November, Interior Savings will be hosting community sessions to gather feedback and to answer questions.

The changes will not affect any of Interior Savings other branches, the Member Service Centre or the online banking services.
