Members of the Summerland Hometown Memories group on Facebook are asking for older pictures showing the community in earlier decades.
The group of around 1,600 people was set up to view and post old pictures and discuss memories of Summerland’s past.
“We are continually looking for older photographs (preferably 30 years old or more) to be shared with the group and with the museum,” states a message from the group organizers.
Members of the group will scan the photos and will then return them to the owners.
