Council gave its support to the GradPass Transit Program, outlined in B.C. Transit’s letter from Jan. 15.
The pass allows graduating Grade 12 students to ride the bus free of charge on any two consecutive days in June, 2014.
The program was designed to promote public transit as a safe method of transportation.
