Dan Ashton, MLA for the riding of Penticton, presents Alyson Lindsay of the Summerland Asset Development Initiative with a cheque for $50,000.
The funding, through the B.C. Gaming Grants program, is the first grant of the year for the youth organization.
The organization provides youths in the community with a place to go and the opportunity to take part in numerous activities.
