Fallen trees miss church building

Summerland building receives eavestrough damage following windstorm

A wind storm on Tuesday knocked down two trees at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Summerland, but the building received little damage.

Michael Colbeck, pastor of the church, said the only damage from the fallen trees was to the eavestroughs. The building itself appeared to be undamaged, he said.
