Expect minor delays on Highway 97 between Penticton and Summerland starting May 9

Road sweeping is planned on Highway 97 in both directions until May 23

Planned road sweeping will cause minor delays for drivers travelling on Highway 97 between Penticton and Summerland starting on Monday, May 9.

DriveBC says the maintenance may affect drivers between Fairview Road and Bentley Road for close to 20 kilometres, in both directions.

From May 9 to 23, drivers should expect to see slow-moving vehicles and traffic control on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Minor delays will follow, according to the Thursday, May 5, update.
