Rob Robinson of the Summerland Fire Department examines the damage following a single-vehicle accident on Monday morning.
The accident occurred around five kilometres north of Summerland when the car struck the barrier.
Over the past week, members of the Summerland RCMP detachment were called to seven motor vehicle accidents. There were no serious injuries from any of the accidents.
During the cold and snowy weather, police in Summerland are urging motorists to drive with caution.
