On Thursday, Summerland drivers faced slippery conditions on the roads in the morning and again in the evening as a result of snowfall. On Friday morning, some drivers had noticed icy conditions on some of the major roads within the community.

The ice has caused many issues over the past months and with the weather not seeming to slow down any time soon, drivers are urged to drive accordingly.

The RCMP have stated that motorists should slow down and adjust to the conditions on the road.
