Five South Okanagan companies volunteered their time and worked together to pave more than a kilometre of trails at Agur Lake Camp.

The trails extend from the cabins to the lake, the fire pit area and the interpretive trail.

Dave Kampe, Joe Cuzzocrea and Rick Selles of Peters Bros. Paving organized the project and provided the majority of workers, machinery and supplies.

Ron McComb of Valley Bob Cat and Scott Lund Bob Cat prepared the existing gravel paths for paving.

Wade Wagstaff of Grizzly Excavating and Mike Johnson Excavating donated trucks and drivers to haul blacktop more than 30 kilometres from West Hills to the campsite.

Agur Lake Camp provides opportunities for those with disabilities and their families to enjoy the outdoors.

Families may rent one of three equipped cabins or may stay in a recreational vehicle site.
