Construction continuing on Oasis development in Summerland

Construction work is continuing on the Oasis development along Lakeshore Drive in Summerland.

The development is for a three-building mixed-use residential-commercial development.

Two six-storey residential buildings will face Okanagan Lake. Each of these two buildings will contain 12 units, at 140 square metres in size. Floors are terraced and each unit will have a large deck and a pool.

The third building will face Lakeshore Drive and be located in front of the other two buildings. It will be a mix of commercial and residential space. The building will haveup to 11 commercial units on the first floor, each opening directly onto Lakeshore Drive, while the second floor will have eight resort condo units.

The building permit for the development, issued in August, 2021, had a value of $23,582,000. This was the largest building permit issued in 2021.

The development permit for this project was approved in June 2019.
