Chips recalled for Salmonella

Deep River Snacks' and Old Dutch brand of potato chips are being recalled for containing salmonella.

The Krinkle Cut Sour Cream and Onion type is distributed in B.C., Alberta, Ontario and possibly other provinces, said a government release.

Look for the 57 g and 142 g bags, with dates from Nov. 9 to Jun. 2, 2017.

Old Dutch Cheddar & Sour Cream potato chips are also being recalled for salmonella in both the 66 g and 255 g bags.

"The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products," said the release.
