The Summerland Health Care Auxiliary purchased a new tub for Angus Place.

The tub, which cost $20,186, replaces an earlier tub at the facility, purchased by the auxiliary in 1988.

The tub also features a lift so residents can get in and out more easily.

Cybak said the tub helps to extend the length of time residents can stay at Angus Place.Clark was the auxiliary president in 1988, when the original tub was donated.

The price of that tub was $6,384.31.
