Summerland Ladies Club
On Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club counted their best nine (front or back,) doubled the score and subtracted their handicap to achieve the final tally.
First Flight: Lil Smith, 71; Vijai Vaagen, 73.
Second Flight: Pat Stohl, 68 and Frances Colussi, 70.
Third Flight: Maribel Rothfield and Ellen Clay, 71 (tie).
Summerland Senior Men
On Aug. 3, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played an all net scores event.
All three flights shared in the low net honours for the week while Steve Clement, Kelly Dunn, Jim Haddrell, Sandy McDowell and Jim Wood shared the deuce pot.
First Flight: First Doug Steinke, 68; second Rick Gotobed, 71 cb; third Jim Haddrell, 71; fourth Garth Humphreys, 72.
