The South Okanagan Immigrant Community Services’ seventh annual Multicultural OneWorld Festival on Saturday was a colourful celebration of all the different cultures in our community.
The annual festival gives residents the chance to taste and explore the wonders of different cultures represented by new and settled immigrants living and working in the region, demonstrating a multitude of arts and crafts, foods, merchandise and musical performances.
The celebration commemorates the many different cultures and backgrounds that make up the community. In it’s seventh year, the festival packed the ballroom at the Lakeside Resort.
