An improved water supply and a better road! To the residents of Garnett Valley in the early 1900s that meant more flumes and a wider trail.
Over 100 years later it means twinned water lines and a much needed road resurfacing. Water systems and transportation issues have always presented a challenge and it would be interesting to check back in another hundred years or so to see what solution future generations employ.
