A faith-based service organization in Summerland is looking for people to assist in a number of community efforts.
Maryana Komljenovic, coordinator of NeighbourLink, said volunteers are needed to assist the group in its work.
There are two levels of volunteering, she said.
Those assisting in one-on-one work must be affiliated with a church and must undergo screening, including a criminal record check through the Summerland RCMP.
Those volunteering to help with special projects do not need to meet the same requirements, she said.
NeighbourLink is a Christian volunteer organization working to help people, with a minimum of fuss and red tape.
There is no charge for NeighbourLink’s services.
