Sanctuaries, with visionary artist Simon Haiduk, opens at the Summerland Art Gallery next Thursday, June 23 at 7 p.m.
These multi-media works are on display until Aug. 6.
The gallery’s summer hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday.
Book launch
Join Anne McDonald for the launch of her new book, To the Edge of the Sea.
MacDonald will be present at Hooked on Books in Penticton, tonight, Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m.
Art exhibit
Opening reception tonight of Triptych, a joint juried exhibition presented by the Federation of Canadian Artists chapters.
The reception is at 7 p.m. at the Shatford Centre in Penticton with guest speaker Robert Genn, SFCA.
There are on-going artist demonstrations at the show which runs until July 27.
In concert
Juno Award winner Oscar Lopez performs June 25 at 7 p.m. at the Naramata Elementary School.
