Summerland Secondary School graduate Hayley Petkau has recently started her studies in sociology and psychology at UBC-Okanagan.

Summerland Secondary School graduate Hayley Petkau has recently started her studies in sociology and psychology at UBC-Okanagan.

Summerland Rotary Club president John Lathey, had an opportunity to meet and congratulate Petkau for being chosen as the recipient of one of two $1,500 bursaries offered annually by the Summerland Rotary Club.

Petkau impressed Rotary Club members with her involvement helping others both locally and in humanitarian projects in Mexico and Grenada.
