A Summerland gardening expert has released a book of gardening wisdom.
Scott Austin, nursery manager of Art Knapp’s Penticton since 1988, has compiled his horticultural advice in Sun, Sand and Sagebrush: Lessons from an Okanagan Garden.
Over the years, he has shared his advice on radio and in news media.
In 2003, he was named Garden Communicator of the Year by the B.C. Landscape and Nursery Association.
The book signing will be held during the Festival of Lights on Friday evening, at the Remax office on Main Street, beginning at 6 p.m.
