A motor-vehicle incident brought traffic to a standstill on Highway 1 east of Chase.
DriveBC reports the incident occurred near Matteys Road, resulting in all lanes being blocked. A photo of the incident shared on social media showed a collision involving a semi, with its trailer stopped across the highway.
Drivers were cautioned to expect delays, with Highways 97, 97A and 97B available as a detour.
