Want to experience the Peach Fest Grand Parade all over again? Shaw is broadcasting the parade (Channel 11 and 105) on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 5:30 p.m.

The return of the grand parade on Saturday, Aug. 6 saw thousands line Main Street and Lakeshore Drive to take in the many floats, marching bands and entertainment.

Floats from across B.C. and Washington State were among those to participate, with local organizations, politicians and decades of Miss Penticton royalty also in attendance and on floats.

If you missed the 75-year-old Penticton tradition, now you can watch the whole thing in the comfort of your home.

This year’s Peach Fest celebrated 75 years and was the biggest and best yet, said organizers.

Peach Fest was five days of special events and performances around the downtown and lakeside, with headliners like Canadian rockers Glass Tiger on Saturday night, and a Queen tribute band that saw huge crowds Friday night.

Peach Fest is the largest free festival in Canada.
