Summerland singer receives awards

Tiana Ferlizza of Summerland placed well at the recent Penticton Kiwanis Music Festival

Tiana Ferlizza of Summerland received several awards, scholarships and placings at the recent Penticton Kiwanis Music Festival.

She won the Soundstage trophy, the foreign language trophy, the classical voice trophy and eight medallions and awards, including the song and dance medallion.

She performed in the dance and music highlights concerts and she was chosen for provincials in classical voice. Ferlizza studies voice under Lynne Leydier.
