The evening also included the presentation of trophies to the winners along with scholarships and other awards and honoured the representatives chosen by adjudicators to attend the Performing Arts BC Festival in Chilliwack at the end of May.

“It was fantastic it was just a remarkable festival of enthusiastic young performers,” PKMF director Lorna Bull. “It was a stunning show of both music and dance, so it was a great success it becomes worth all the tremendous effort that the few board members have to put in to make it happen and well appreciated by everyone.”
