Vintage cars on display at Penticton mall

Nine cars are featured at this year’s show inside Cherry Lane Shopping Centre

View some amazing classic cars in the comfort of a mall setting during the annual vintage car show going on this week until Saturday, April 9, at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre.

The vintage car show has been going on for 47 years in Penticton but had to take a two-year hiatus because of the pandemic.

See the 1951 Cadillac convertible that Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh drove around in when they were in Vancouver in 1951, said Dave Doman, the co-chair of the Cherry Lane Mall Car Show.

Nine cars are featured at this year’s show, with the public’s vote being the deciding factor in who will take home the prestigious winning trophy.
