Trout Creek residents will share stories about life in their community.

On Sunday, Sept. 30 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., a residents’ group will host Two-minute Trout Creek Talks.

Those present are encouraged to take the microphone for two minutes and speak about their lives in Trout Creek, how they came to live in the neighbourhood, their family history in Trout Creek or other experiences in the area.

Cake, coffee and juice to follow.

The event will be held in Powell Beach Park, near the Trout Creek notice board. Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair.

Funding for the event came from the Community Foundation of South Okanagan/Similkameen.
