Who has the best Christmas lights in Trout Creek?

It’s time to find out with the annual Trout Creek light up. Nominate your own home, friend or neighbour by Dec. 23. Everyone can vote, so encourage your friends and family from all over to participate.

There are four categories:

Best Classical Design: traditional decorations from holidays past.

The Clark Griswold: you light up the whole neighbourhood.

Best Theme: you have a running theme happening in your light display.

Most Favorite: the display you love but doesn’t fit into the other categories.

Any home in Trout Creek is eligible, on both sides of the highway. Don’t forget to check out the dead end streets so you don’t miss any displays. And make sure your house number is visible — if people can’t see it, they can’t vote for you.

You can vote two ways. You can drop your votes in the ballot box that will be set up at the Trout Creek community sign at Nixon Road and May Street from Dec. 19 to 23, or you can email them to troutcreekvotes@gmail.com.

Prizes from Penticton Wibit Water Park, Rustic & Refined, Backyard Beans, and Zia’s Stonehouse. Winners will be announced on the community board and the Trout Creek Community Facebook page.

Email troutcreekvotes@gmail.com for more information.
