Tim Hortons' Smile Cookie campaign is back in the South Okanagan, with proceeds set to go toward the Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society (OSNS) Child and Youth Development Centre.
From April 28 to May 4, people can buy the $2 cookie in support of the Penticton-based centre, which serves kids with developmental challenges from across the region.
This marks the fourth year Tim Hortons locations in the South Okanagan will donate 100 per cent of their Smile Cookie sales to OSNS.
"We’re so excited to launch this year’s Smile Cookie campaign in support of the OSNS Legacy Foundation," said Nicole MacMillan, owner and operator of South Okanagan Tim Hortons.
"One of the highlights this year is the return of the Chocolate Chunk cookies — now even more gooey and delicious. 100 per cent of every cookie sold goes directly to the OSNS Legacy Foundation, so every bite truly makes a difference."
MacMillan added that the campaign has a fundraising goal of $75,000, as it continues to march toward reaching its $250,000 pledge for the OSNS Legacy Foundation.
"Our teams are ready to serve up smiles, and we’re encouraging businesses, schools, and individuals to place bulk pre-orders to help us spread joy across the South Okanagan," she said.
In 2024, the local Smike Cookie campaign raised more than $71,000 for OSNS.
People can pre-order cookies here. Deliveries are available for two or more boxes.
Tim Hortons locations in Penticton, Summerland, Oliver and Osoyoos are taking part in the campaign.
The OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre, founded in 1978, offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, speech therapy, behaviour support, family support, and autism intervention services.
It is located at 103-550 Carmi Ave.
