The Town of Osoyoos is partnering with Water Waves First Aid & Aquatics to bring swimming lessons to Osoyoos Lake this summer.

More than just learning how to swim, this program will teach children how to be safe in and around the water.

Parents are not required to be in the water (unless otherwise noted) but must be prepared to get wet.

Students get to swim in all different kinds of weather elements. They learn about how to help keep themselves safe and how to keep others safe as well, said Water Waves.

Water Waves also does lake lessons in Naramata and Summerland.

Registration starts April 19 at 8:30 a.m. in person or online.
