Summerland royalty take oath of office

Blossom Queen and princesses will represent community for the coming year

The members of Summerland’s royalty took their oath of office during the Summerland municipal council meeting on May 13.

The Blossom Queen and two princesses were selected during the two-day Blossom Pageant earlier this month. For the next year, they will represent attend special events and functions in the community and will represent Summerland around the province.

This year’s Blossom Queen is Sage Beddome. The princesses are Verity Taylor and Katrina Kirschmann.

A total of eight candidates participated in the pageant this year.
