Summerland authors to launch new books

Regional writers will hold book launch on March 14

Two well-known regional writers will be launching their books Summerland.

Meaghan Hackinen recounts an epic bicycle trip in South Away, pedalling from Terrace down to the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

Don Gayton explores diverse aspects of Okanagan ecology and culture in The Sky and the Patio.

Gayton and Hackinen have received awards for their writing.

The launch takes place at the Ryga Arts Centre on Tuesday, March 14, beginning at 7 p.m.

Come and meet the two writers.

Admission is free and the public is welcome.

Books will be available for purchase, and refreshments will be served.
