Santa will be making an early visit to kids this year, hosted virtually by Sprott Shaw College.

Tickets and kits for the Dec. 5 Lunch with Santa fundraiser go on sale Nov. 1 for $5.

This year the proceeds from the fundraiser go to support the City-Wide School Donation Drive.

The donation drive, which was started by Andrea Fossum in 2018, collects donations and supplies for all grades and schools across the South Okanagan - Similkameen.

Last year the Lunch With Santa took place in-person at the seniors’ drop-in centre with the proceeds going to the Penticton Starfish Pack Program.

The tickets come with a kit, which includes a colouring contest, ready to build crafts, a letter for Santa, goodies and treats, and a raffle ticket for the fundraiser’s prize draws.

Tickets are available at the college’s 101-2603 Skaha Lake Road location or by calling 250-770-2277.

Parents picking up tickets and kits are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item or stocking stuffer for an additional raffle ticket.
