Information session will be held in Summerland on June 1

A presentation on CBD and whole food nutrition for children will be held Saturday, June 1.

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a naturally occurring compound in cannabis, but has little tetrahydrocannabinol. As a result, it does not produce the psychoactive high associated with marijuana.

Victoria Laine, a registered holistic nutritionist, will talk about how food can affect a child’s behaviour.

Admission is a $5 per person donation to Kyla’s Quest. Reservations can be made online through Eventbright or at Purple Hemp Co., 13227 Victoria Rd. N., Summerland, or by calling 778-516-0089.
