With the summer weather finally back in the Okanagan, more and more restaurants are opening their patios for the season.

Now Okanagan residents can find the best patios in the region with the help of OpenTable, which is an online restaurant company where people can find and review different eateries.

And according to OpenTable and their research that includes more than one million customers reviews, five of the top 100 outdoor dining restaurants in Canada are right here in the Okanagan.

Whether its for a birthday, to celebrate promotion, a bachelor/bachelorette party, or any other occasion, these five spots have options for everyone.

The five spots range from Lake Country to Oliver (listed north to south):

  • BLOCK ONE Restaurant at 50th Parallel Winery (Lake Country);
  • Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery (West Kelowna);
  • Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery (Kelowna);
  • Shaughnessy’s Cove (Summerland);
  • Miradoro at Tinhorn Creek Winery (Oliver).

Four of these five restaurants were also on OpenTable’s recent list of the top 100 brunch places in Canada.

Of the top 100 restaurants in the country, 21 of them are in British Columbia. Ontario leads the way with 59 spots on the list. Quebec accounts for nine, Alberta has seven, and Atlantic Canada has four. The full list of restaurants can be found on OpenTable’s website.
