The Summerland Kiwanis Club provided funding for a number of community organizations.
At a dinner on April 11, the club presented the donations.
The Summerland Asset Development Initiative received $1,000.
The Summerland Girl Guides received $750.
NeighbourLink, the Summerland Air Cadets, the Summerland Food Bank and Resource Centre and the B.C. and Alberta Guide and Autism Support Dogs program each received $500.
The Giant’s Head School Grade 5 Medallions program was given $400.
Breakfast programs at Giant’s Head School and Summerland Middle School received $250 each.
