The Kiwanis Club of Summerland has donated $5,500 to organizations in the community through the sale of donated furniture and other items.
Diane Pearson, treasurer of the service club, said the donations were sold online to raise the money. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kiwanis Club would hold garage sales as fundraising events.
