SUMMERLAND MUSEUM FOOTBALL CLUB This photograph shows members of the 1912 Summerland Football Club, but the game they are playing is called soccer today. There was an active Okanagan Football League which featured games on a regular basis during the spring and summer months. In the back row from left are Bill Beattie, Paddy Cole, Ben Newton, Jack Weeks, Mr. Helmer (Coach?), Dave Thompson, Jack Woods, (Unknown). In front from left are W.C.W. Fosbery, (Unknown), Charles Marshall, Will Atkinson, George Fisher and brothers Lorne and Lemore Sherk. Anyone with information on the names of the unknown people in this picture is asked to contact the Summerland Museum.
