On one of the hottest days of the summer, Dairy Queen is offering a way to cool down and support a good cause at the same time.

Today, on Miracle Treat Day, net proceeds from each Blizzard sold will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.

Loida Castillo, manager of the Summerland Dairy Queen, said the event has been well-received today.

For those who want a Blizzard treat, the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. and the drive-through is open until 11 p.m.
