Summerland artists will gather at the Summerland Ornamental Gardens this summer for plein air painting.
The artists will be on site on July 29 and Aug. 26, along with photographers, quilters, potters and others.
They will also have pieces on display for cash purchase.
“In 2017 we hosted our first Art in the Gardens events,” said Bonnie Fulton, chair of the Friends of the Gardens, “and the artists and visitors had so much fun that we decided to do it again this year.”
The artists will be working from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. so visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and a camera.
The Ornamental Gardens are located across the highway from SunOka Provincial Park in Summerland, above the Summerland Research and Development Centre.
Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Friends of the Gardens maintains the beauty of the Gardens entirely through fundraising.
