The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle will be out in front of the Liquor Store (next to Nester’s) again this year from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the three December Friday and Saturdays before Christmas. However, local organizer Don Huston says he could use a few more volunteers to help serve by the kettles.
The kettles will also be out at the Festival of Lights along Main street. Contact Don Huston (don@juliastreet.ca) if you’d like to volunteer for a two-hour shift.
