A new general office administrator has been added to the staff at NeighbourLink Summerland.
Brandi Esler has joined the service organization, after having worked earlier at NeighbourLink Calgary.
NeighbourLink, an interchurch volunteer organization, provides a variety of services to people in need throughout the community.
Among Esler’s long-term goals are improving efficiencies in NeighbourLink’s filing and computer systems and increasing the visibility of NeighbourLink in the community.
“I have a heart for serving those who are disadvantaged or need a hand up,” Esler said.
Much of NeighbourLink’s work has been in providing assistance to individuals in need. The organization has also organized regular soup socials and a Christmas dinner match-up, for those who would otherwise be alone at Christmas.
